Gallup suggests negativity costs the U.S. economy more than $3 billion a year in lost productivity. Whether it’s complaining, negative attitudes or stress-related illnesses, workplace drama hampers productivity and personal effectiveness.

Many leaders do not have the courage or skill to interrupt behaviors that decline performance. It is essential to develop skills in the areas of communication and conflict resolution in order to positively impact workplace drama and improve productivity.
